Isabelle Giguère, pht
Isabelle Giguère graduated from Laval University in 1997. She practised physiotherapy in Quebec and in Switzerland for clients suffering from orthopaedic and sports-related conditions. Her passion for physiotherapy has led her to keep specializing herself throughout her career, obtaining high level certifications for orthopaedic manipulative therapy in Canada, including a Certificate of Intermediate Manual and Manipulative Physiotherapy (part A) in 2005. She is an OPPQ-licenced professional for joint and spine manipulations. She proud to offer her physiotherapy and electrotherapy services in the rehabilitation clinic in Longueuil.
Our expert in physiotherapy majored in muscle control and biomechanical analysis, and is currently perfecting her skills in vestibular rehabilitation. Throughout her career, Isabelle offered her services in different sports venues, such as triathlons and the Rogers Cup (Tennis Canada), as well as for the Nut Cracker show produced by the Grands Ballets Canadiens.
Isabelle Giguère is talented physiotherapist, but above all she is an adventurous person with a passion for people and cultures: she travelled around the world, climbed summits reaching up to 18,000 ft, sailed the Mediterranean Sea, and tasted most of the world’s cuisine! She now trains in running, cross-country skiing and kite skiing, when she is not enjoying the Michel Chartrand Park with her two young kids.
Janie Provencher, pht
Passionate about body movement and sports and inhabited with values of altruism and empathy, Janie obtained her master’s degree in physiotherapy from Laval University in 2016. In an effort of continuous improvement, Janie is undergoing several training courses with great interest, including the curriculum of the Quebec Association of Orthopedic Manual Physiotherapy (AQPMO). A keen runner, Janie trained with Blaise Dubois from La Clinique du Coureur, amongst others, and put her knowledge of physio into practice by participating in various sprint and olympic triathlons. Her academic involvement with Cégep Garneau’s Division 1 college football team and UL’s famous Rouge et Or demonstrate a strong will to take on challenges. Her passion for travelling brought her to VietNam, where she practised pediatric physiotherapy, before being today a reference in physiotherapy clinic in Longueuil.
Although she is pasionnate about physiotherapy, Janie remains active and always open to new experiences she enjoys practices contemporary dance, yoga, indoor training, cross-country skiing, alpine skiing and hiking. Janie is a dynamic and enthusiastic physiotherapist always looking for the best solutions for her patients.
